VIANU MUREȘAN (Romania)

VIANU MUREȘAN, born in Vicea, Maramureș, 1969, is a writer, publicist, translator, TV producer, PhD in Philosophy from Babeș-Bolyai University. He has published fiction, poetry, essays, studies, treatises in the fields of: religious experience, The Theology and art of the icon, Neoplatonic philosophy, otherness, hermeneutics of existential situations, philosophy of mind, phenomenology. Recipient of the “Henri Jaquier” Prize  awarded by the French Cultural Center for his doctoral thesis – Heterologie: An introduction to the Ethics of E. Lévinas (2005). Professor at “Avram Iancu” University in  Cluj-Napoca (1993—2010). Currently works as a scientific advisor at Eikon Publishing House. in
