VASILE GRIBINCEA (Romania)
VASILE GRIBINCEA (b. 1997, in Chișinău) has published poetry, studies, essays, book and film reviews, interviews in several magazines from Romania and from the Republic of Moldova, as well as the book of poetry Coerența labirintică. Volum Alternativ/Continuu [The Mazy Coherence. Alternative/Continuous Volume], Cartier Publishing House, 2023, that received 5 literary awards: The Prize The Prize “The Year’s Poetry Book of 2023”, the Debut section, offered by ARCCA [The Romanian Association of Cultural Creators and Artists]; The Prize for the Poetic Debut (ex aequo) at The National Poetry Festival “George Bacovia”; The Book of Debut published in 2023 offered (ex aequo) by the Writers’ Union of Moldova; The Literary Award for Debut in Poetry at the International Festival of Literature „Literatura în Stradă” [The Literature in the Street] (FILSTREET); The Literary Award for Debut in Poetry (ex aequo) offered by the Chișinău Municipal Library “B. P. Hasdeu”; as well, the book received nominalizations for the short list of the National Poetry Prize “Mihai Eminescu – Opus primum” and at the Gala of the Young Writers – The Book of Poetry from 2023.
Vasile Gribincea also elaborated an anthology that synthesizes 50 years from Dorin Tudoran’s poetic creation – Calea. Nemărginirea se reînnoiește [The Way. The Boundlessness is Renewing], Cartier Publishing House, 2023. Vasile Gribincea is currently editor at the National Museum of Romanian Literature and PhD Student at the University of Bucharest’s Faculty of Letters, where he received as well his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Among other distinctions, he has received the Prize for the best bachelor’s thesis in the domain of Humanistic Sciences at the University of Bucharest Senate Awards Gala (2019) and the National Prize for Youth in the domain of Culture, offered by the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
