sorin despoT (Romania)

sorin despoT (b. 1985) is a writer, public speaker, and MarCom consultant. His poetry collection press (Cartea Românească, 2010) received the Romanian Writers’ Union Award for Literary Debut. The second one, terms | conditions, was published in 2016 by the Max Blecher Publishing House. His most recent book, privacy policies, made it to the shelves in 2024. For more than a decade, Sorin has coordinated the Săvârșin Young Writers’ Camp and has compiled twelve anthologies of emerging poetry. He currently leads creative writing and spoken word workshops. Sorin lives in Bucharest, where he hosts, moderates, and speaks at cultural events and business conferences.
