Miranda Eristavi (Georgia)

Miranda ERISTAVI (b. 1986, Sighnaghi, Georgia) is a Georgian poet whose work delves into the emotional inner world of women, exploring themes such as desire, spirituality, struggle, and often taboo subjects. Her poetry aims to lay bare the human experience, capturing both pain and beauty in a way that resonates deeply with readers.

Born into a family of artists — her father, Amiran Goderdzishvili, is a poet, and her mother, Nino Mirianashvili, a musician — Miranda began writing poetry at the age of five. Her first works appeared in print between the ages of ten and thirteen, and she has since been published widely in literary magazines, newspapers, and online platforms. She has also received recognition in various literary competitions and has published one poetry collection.

Miranda lives in Tbilisi with her three children and works for an international freight forwarding company. Alongside her literary work, she is passionate about people, travel, photography, and, above all, writing.
