DAN COMAN (Romania)

DAN COMAN (born in 1975 in Gersa, Romania) has published four volumes of poetry: The Year of the Yellow Mole (Anul cârtiței galbene, Vinea Publishing House, 2003), Ghinga (Vinea, 2005), Mara’s Dictionary, A Father’s Manual 0–2 Years (Dicționarul Mara, manualul tatălui 0–2 ani, Cartier Publishing House, 2009), and The Coman Insectarium (Insectarul Coman, Charmides, 2017).

He has also published four novels: Irresistible (Irezistibil, Cartea Românească, 2010), The Parish (Parohia, Cartea Românească, 2012), Marriage (Căsnicie, Polirom, 2015), and These Things That Will Never Change (Aceste lucruri care nu se vor schimba niciodată, Polirom, 2019), as well as a short story collection, What Do You Prefer? (Ce preferi?, Polirom, 2022).
