Bogdan Ghiu (Romania)

BOGDAN GHIU is a poet, essayist (literature, philosophy, contemporary art, architecture, media, politics), translator of French philosophy and literature (Foucault, Deleuze, Derrida, Latour; Baudelaire, Artaud, Duras, Sansal, Da Empoli, etc.), translation theorist (Everything Must Be Translated, 2015; reBAbel, 2025) and translation teacher. He expresses itself daily on the radio and weekly in cultural magazines. He is a member of historic Generation 80 and president of the Romanian Literary Translators’ Association (ARTLIT). His most recent book of poetry is Cu Orice e posibil / With Anything is Possible, 2019. He is currently working on an essay entitled Rana de ieșire. Mobilizare / The Exit wound. Mobilization.
