Ana Andrei (Romania)

ANA ANDREI (heteronym of Ana-Daniela Paraschivescu, b. 1977, Craiova) is a teacher of Romanian language and literature at C.E. “Gheorghe Chițu.” A graduate of the Faculty of Letters and History, Craiova (1999), with a Master’s degree in 2009, she publishes reviews and literary criticism in Ateneu, Mozaicul, Bucovina Literară, Argeș, SpecActor, and Liternet. Her poetry has appeared in Neuma, Vatra, O mie de semne, Teleormanul cultural, TopLitera, among others, and her prose in TopLitera and in the anthology Trag clopotele cu putere (2022). She has published the volumes Între un coșmar și o fotografie frumoasă (2020), Bărbații noștri de nisip (2022), and Tristețea draft (2023). She has read at literary circles and festivals (FIPB 2023, ReVERS 2023) and co-runs the reading clubs Smartopia and “Poetry, Open Therapy” at the Students’ Cultural Center in Craiova. She has participated in creative writing camps in Ipotești and Toplița.
